Hello! We're John and Linds, co-captains and the founders of Tonka Toons. Growing up on opposite shores—Lindsay in Wayzata and John in Minnetonka—our lives have always been anchored here with Lake Minnetonka, a place we both call home.

After hosting groups, from bachelorette parties and work outings, to cross-country farewells and reunions we realized our purpose: help make the Lake accessible to more people by offering custom-crafted cruises with unmatched flexibility. Captain John here! I'm most likely in a cowboy hat and making sure we hit the waves just right so we don't get soaked when we aren't expecting to! I grew up in Minnetonka and this place is more than just a backdrop for work to me. I've spent years navigating Lake Minnetonka and I enjoy sharing and showing it off to locals and out of towners alike. Consider me as your local Lake Minnetonka Connisseuer.

Think of me as your go-to gal for planning out your perfect day on the Lake! Feel free to text me leading up to your reservation and ask any questions that might come to mind. On the day of your booking I'll be on board with Captain John to make sure of smooth sailing. I help navigate the Lake and love to share my random tidbits of random facts that I've acquired over the years. I'm also available for planning out your route, bringing floaties aboard, and a cooler of ice for you to fill with your favorite beverages. I also come in handy as a time keeper and group photogrpaher. Lindsay here, at your service!
